Made in America

Made in America by a U.S. veteran.

Every LidSkulls display skull is made in the United States by a U.S. veteran. One veteran. One shop. Each skull is made one at a time.

Made by someone who wore the covers

LidSkulls is made by a U.S. veteran who wore these covers himself. He knows what a cover means, because his sat in a box for years before he gave it a place to stand.

How each skull is made

The first skull, called the master, was given its grip texture by hand.

A mold is made from that master.

Each LidSkulls is cast from the mold, so every one has the same shape and the same texture. Then each skull is checked and finished before it ships.

What goes into it

The resin and the mold silicone come from Smooth-On, an American company. The tools come from American makers. The shipping box is made in the U.S.

Why it matters

A cover is part of the uniform you wore. It should be honored by people who understand that. Buying LidSkulls supports a U.S. veteran-owned business and American work.

How it ships

Your skull ships in a breathable fabric bag. Slip the bag inside your cover to help it hold its shape on display. It fits about 95% of covers. If it does not work for you, send it back within 30 days, no questions asked. The return label is already in the box.

Every branch. Every cover.
